Since we've moved to our new place and I have got more room to test all my interior design and decor ideas, I've been constantly shifting from one style to another. This is not helpful at all when you try to finish everything at once and after a couple of months you're already thinking of changing the couch, bed and all of the lights. By some strange idea, all this time I thought that everything should be within one decor style. By everything I mean all rooms together should create one space no matter what. But then I thought, why is that? When it comes to my clothing and accessories choices, I never choose one style. If I learned something from my merchandising and space decorator career, it is that order should be in place, but you need something that catches your eye - some asymmetry, spark of color, or even change of texture. I love it when something stands out and makes everything look more interesting. And most important thing - I believe, that my home is my mirror and I want it to look fabulous!
To help myself find the "it" factor, I decided to collect all things I like in one list, think about it for some time, and then remove everything that I do not fancy anymore. I've been doing it for a couple of years and now I can say, that everything that left on my "Interior List" is definitely ME. Through that list I can see myself as different, sometimes classic and sometimes bold, colorful and even strange. Funny thing, I couldn't agree more with this description of my own personality. But who knows what I will be up to next week, so I've decided to start documenting my today's ideas. It will be interesting to see my journey through that bumpy road of finding true myself.
1. Knot Pillow. A playful accent for your sofa. It is not boring and comes in many colors. I find this form very relaxing.
![]() | 2. Bellhop portable LED lamp. Sleek design and minimalistic look - would love to add it to my living room. |
3. Mouse 33" Fabric Chair. Boucle is still a very popular option for accent chairs. It's never late to add some texture to your natural interior palette.
4. Victoria black vase. Simply beautiful, either with flowers or not.
5. Set of 6 Christmas ornaments. Beautiful addition to the contemporary Christmas tree. Simple design and neutral colors are beautiful.
6. Eva Bust. This is actually one of the main things on my wish list. I literally don't understand why I still haven't ordered it. But it won't be for long!
![]() | 7. Live Beautiful. Must have coffee table book for any interior design enthusiast. |
