Selection: New Year's dresses

Magic is on its way! I've always loved the holiday season, even more than my birthday, for reasons I can't explain. Maybe, its about the mystery of the quiet night before Christmas or all the sparkles around - snowflakes, lights on the Christmas trees, candle flickers, bubbly champagne in the glasses and sequin dresses dancing around under a disco ball. What a delight for the eyes. I think, I just found the reason. Of course, I can do all of those things any time of the year, but there won't be the main ingredient of the perfect celebration - the spirit of gratitude for the year past and the anticipation of the new great year coming.

Interestingly, I thought about all my past new year's outfits, and it seems to me, it's the only occasion for which I wore dresses almost every time. No matter how cold it was outside, if I had a party to attend, I would wear a dress. For the person who wears dresses almost never, it's a progress, and I have all the means to continue this unexpected tradition.

So I started to look for the dress I would wear this year. Even better if you have plans for going out for several occasions, like corporate parties, Christmas and the New Year's evening. It could be just one dress for all of them, no problem at all, but there is always a chance you simply wouldn't be able to pick only one dress. Believe me, I just started to look and I already have so many favorites. And personally, I like to meet the New Year wearing the perfectly new dress, so we can start our relationship like we've been on the same team since the very beginning.

I chose these dresses as an inspiration for what I will be looking for. Some of them are simple and I love to add more shiny shoes and a colorful bag to make the outfit look slick and elegant, but festive. Others are speaking for themselves with all the glitter and rich details. For me, it's ideal to have a couple of different options, so I can decide which one to wear right before the party, depending on my mood. Sometimes you just want to feel more comfortable and it is not good for the celebration spirit, to be rushed to think of a new party look on the spot, in case I do not feel like wearing a mini dress with a completely open back that particular evening. So, I am on the look out for the stunning dresses, that will give me all the confidence and best feelings matching the holidays spirit around me.
